Parent and Student Testimonials

"My daughters have been attending St. Ladislaus School since ’07. When we first started coming here I was not sure what to expect, I grew up in a small town and public schools. This was a huge change for me. So upon choosing this school for my daughter, now two daughters, soon to be three daughters, I was nervous. Once we were here I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. Gabby, my 6th grader, has become an outstanding young woman who works hard and dedicates her weekends the church and teaching the younger students in bible school.Mackenzie, my 1st grader, has become much more focused and she has become very active in the school. It has made the choice to send Dixie, who will attend kindergarten here next year, much easier. To see all the support and dedication of ALL of the staff, not just the teachers, I could not imagine sending my girls anywhere else. The community of this school, paired with the outstanding staff here is unparalleled in any other school that I have found in this area."

“Saint Ladislaus has been a positive experience for my daughter and I. First, I have seen Alondra be more focused and committed to her school work. Second, our relationship has improved since we have participated in school activities. Last, my daughter has taught me how to pray and talk about God more than before.”

“Saint Ladislaus School means my kids are recieveing a good education, learning environment and understanding of the Catholic religion. I appreciate how much the teachers are helpful and friendly. The before and after care program really helps with our work schedules. My kids appreciate the extracurricular activities and enjoy going to school everyday. Saint Ladislaus School has helped teach my kids to be more respectful and responsible. We appreciate the festivals, events, and assemblies that bring families together. This school has been the best school my kids have attended thus far.”

"My son Joshua Rivera has been attending St. Lad’s school for 4 years now. I have watched him bloom into a wonderful young boy. I have my older son, Jonathan who attended public schools because my sister-in-law is a teacher’s aide and helped us in taking him to school.I personally went to Catholic school all my life so I didn’t know the difference. I always felt that the public schools were ahead because they had the funds for computers and the latest learning curricula. It comes down that I was wrong. What makes Saint Ladislaus The Great Gem it is, is not all the fancy computers and latest things, it’s the knowledge filled Teachers and loving and caring people we have at our school. It is genuinely our extended family."
Mrs. Mickey Rivera, Third Grade Parent
"My grandson is a kindergarten student at St. Ladislaus. The new principal has infused her energy, her enthusiasm, and her determination to allow St. Ladislaus the opportunity to become a predominant leader and force in educational achievement and development. The teachers are a blend of veteran educators combined with young and innovative new teachers whose vitality and creativity have become infectious. The school is multicultural, and features a challenging academic curriculum. The teachers believe that wisdom begins with wonder and that this is a school where children come first, and where ALL children are honored. The basic philosophy of St. Lads is, that it is a school where students are given problems to solve, not answers to remember. Being a Catholic school, religion is a very important part of the school curriculum. The entire faculty emphasizes in their teaching educating the minds of our students, while remembering to educate their hearts. If you are in search of a school where education is received and achieved, look no further- St. Ladislaus is that school. At St. Lads your child will experience teaching that will turn today s learners into tomorrow's leaders."

"I really, really love this school. The teachers are kind and they will always help you. There are also so many fun and new activities like band. One of my favorite things about this school is the special periods throughout the week like gym, music and computers. Out of all of the schools in the area, St. Ladislaus School is the best!"
Julia Smith, Seventh Grade
"I love St. Ladislaus, because we get a great education, we participate in fun activities, we get to learn about the importance of our faith, our teachers are great, and no one ever has to worry about bullying. I think other people should come to our school, because I think they would have a lot of fun during and after school hours. Our band program is very fun and educational"
Michael Thompson, Seventh Grade
“I have been here since preschool and I’ve learned a lot! The teachers here explain everything if you don’t get it and they will repeat it for you. My teachers Ms.Bono, Mrs.McAleer and Ms. Funkhouser teach me. So does my principal Ms.Scotkovsky. Everyday we go to the end of the hall and do prayer service . That’s when the whole school prays together and that’s why I love St.ladislaus.”
Daniel Zielinski- Fourth Grade Student
“I love St.Ladislaus because it is a good and supporting school. We do fun activities. We learn the right way and we get awards for what we learned throughout the year. Students and teachers care for each other. They also share and believe in others. We have raised money by bingo and dress down for dollar to help other people who need things. We also raise money for iPads to learn.”
Natalia Pacula-Third Grade Student
“I like St.Ladislaus because there is more education. You make lots of friends that support you. You will have fun, play games and have specials like gym and music. St.Ladislaus will protect you, care for you and make sure you learn what you need to learn. St.Ladislaus has anti-bullying so kids don’t have to get scared or hurt. This is why I like St.Ladislaus.
