What's New In Mrs. Michalak's Classroom?

Week Of: 5/14-5/18

We are studying the sacraments of Penance and Anointing of the Sick in Religion class.  In Math, we are finishing up mutiplying of fractions and mixed numbers.  In Reading, we have been reading  "Spirit of Endurance",  a non-fiction account about a man lost in the Artic.  In Spelling and Grammar, we have been practicing using adjectives and adverbs while writing sentences and paragraphs.  We have been researching butterfly lifecycles and examining the reasons why there is a lack of milkweed, the only food for Monarch butterfles.
