Week Of: 5/21-5/24

As the school year is winding down, we our preparing for our lives as Eighth graders next year. We have been talking about characteristics that make a good leader.  We have been connecting what we have been talking about by examining the different lives of Saints as well as Jesus.  In Religion, we began learning about the Sacrament of Confirmation and the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit.  In Science, we finished our chapter on motion. To prepare for our test, we quizzed each other and played a fun jeopardy review game. In Social Studies, to demonstrate what we have learned about experiences on the Oregon Trail, we researched, and created our very own trips across the U.S. We had fun celebrating Memorial Day in advance by attending a Memorial Mass as well as watching a parade presented by the preschool and primary grades.
