Faith Formation Planning 2020-2021

Hello St. Joseph and St. Ladislaus Families,

As you know, the merger of our two parishes will go into effect on October 1, 2020.  As we move forward in our planning process for the combined religious education program at the newly formed Parish, we need to have an idea of the number of children who will be registering for next year.

Presently, there are still many questions to be answered for next year, as is the case with the public schools because of COVID-19. The one thing that we know is that the program will be a hybrid. In other words, it may have in-person classes depending upon public health and Board of Education decisions, but it will also have a distance learning component, providing enough flexibility for fall and winter based on COVID-19 developments. This will be true for all the schools and all parishes in the Diocese.

As we begin the process, however, we need to assess how many students are enrolling in the program next year, in order to accurately plan for classes, catechists, etc.

We are asking that you take a moment to fill out the online pre-registration form at your earliest convenience found at the following St. Joseph and St. Ladislaus webpage

Please fill out all of the following as soon as possible:

  • Your complete family information name, address, phone number, email address
  • Children’s names, grade in school, level of sacramental preparation (first or second year in the program), level for the upcoming grade year
  • Sacraments already completed (ongoing faith formation).

Please know this is not is a commitment on your part, it is only for informational purposes. But the information you provide is indeed very important so that we can ensure the program can accommodate all children/families of the new parish.

Thank you for your participation in our faith formation program.
